The Swampfox (named for the conditions it was developed to work from) is a short range (<25 km from base), fully autonomous platform for aerial imagery collection. Using the tried-and-tested Hawk autopilot system, the Swampfox can be easily flown by two people. It was designed to capture high-resolution still imagery for aerial mapping purposes while being rugged enough to survive the rigors of the Australian outback and the cold of Antarctica.

The Fox carries up to 2 cameras with an all up weight of 800 g in carbon fibre protective capsules which be field exchanged in less than a minute. The airframe and ground station (including spare parts) quickly break-down into two, ultra-tough pelican cases.
