In addition to UAS based sensors AUT also utilize our handheld ASD Field Spectoradiometer to build up a spectral library for ground truth and calibration procedures.
Through the comparison of the spectral signature of the target species against those of other species found in the same habitat, it is possible to develop targeted image classification procedures for AUT’s highly calibrated UAS sensors.
